Wrap your 2024 up in positivity and appreciation.
Introduction
As humans, negativity bias has become evolutionarily hard-wired in our brains for the purpose of survival.
In the current times, this tendency to see negativity everywhere harms us more than it helps, by putting us in a survival mode and in the state of stress, fear and agitation.
There is a simple way to rewire our brains to see more positively, feel better about ourselves and our lives, and even grow from the agitation we experience. This is the way of appreciation.
There is research stating the positive impact of gratitude and appreciation on mental wellbeing, physical health, relationships, career, and even longevity. But you can verify this impact yourself by practicing appreciation consistently for a few days and noticing how it changes your mood and behavior.
The more you appreciate, the better you feel.
The Challenge
What is the challenge?
Find something to appreciate every day for 21 days, and post it on the Facebook group.
What's included:
- Daily prompts for appreciation on the Facebook group.
- You will be encouraged via likes and comments by the Facebook community.
- Weekly emails with appreciation ideas, quotes for inspiration and more prompts!
- 4 weekly live calls on Zoom.
For these 21 days, you will be part of a breeding ground for positivity!

Call 1: Opening Ceremony: 28th November, 6:30pm IST
Challenge Starts on Facebook: 1st December (New Moon)
Call 2: 8th December, 6:30pm IST
Call 3: 15th December, 6:30pm IST (Full Moon)
Challenge ends: 21st December (Winter Solstice!)
Call 4: Closing Ceremony: 22nd December, 6:30pm IST

Your Facilitator
I'm Ooha Maruri, a Mindfulness-based Counselor and certified EFT Practitioner based in Hyderabad, India, who helps people with anxiety and chronic stress heal into the fulfilling life of their dreams.
I anchor into love and compassion in my work. All of my work is based in mindfulness, somatic awareness and is trauma-informed.
I'm also the founder of the Whole Together self-love community. My inspiration for this challenge comes from my own life experience with appreciation, gratitude journaling and the work of Abraham Hicks.
